Bloomin Marvellous

This customer wanted a kitchen upgrade in time to host a birthday party for a family member. She wanted a light, bright, open space where she could be the hostess with the mostest! As part of the refurbishment a small utility in the corner of the kitchen was removed and the back door and window were replaced with large bifold doors.
Dylan in matt Taupe, a contemporary 5 piece shaker door by Ethos, was chosen for the wall units with a contrasting colour of Reed Green for the island units. Knobs and cup handles in Brushed Nickel are by Stori. The worktops, upstands and splashback are Silestone White Storm by Cosentino.
Lots of storage and clean lines were a key consideration so the design features tall housing units to accommodate the Bosch integrated larder fridge and Haier integrated washing machine and tumble dryer. The Elica Nikola Tesla Velvet induction hob does away with the need for an extractor fan so extra storage was created overhead. The Elica hob has a sophisticated texture which conceals a powerful air extraction system, activated with a simple flick of the central flap. It couldn’t be easier!!!
A Butler’s Pantry with bifold doors and LED ambient lighting reveal easy access to everyday appliances. The brew station is easily to hand near the Qettle Original 4 in 1 boiling tap in Chrome so no need for a kettle. The quartz worktop continues within this bank of storage, providing a dedicated surface for food prep or appliance storage, offering additional functionality to the traditional pantry space and becoming a practical extension of the kitchen. LVT flooring in a natural oak colour completes the room and adds warmth.
The island was kept free of appliances so it would be a dedicated entertaining space and is now the hub of the home where you can grab a quick breakfast and a brew in the morning, or have a lazy dinner and a catch up in the evening.

CLIENT REVIEW

Absolutely thrilled with our kitchen! The level of care and perfectionism was 100% from start to finish. I work from home and couldn’t have handled coordinating trades. They managed everything, from schedules to comms. The whole project took about 6 weeks and every trade was top quality, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. What made it extra special was how personalised it was. They built a laundry and drying cupboard, plus a diabetes cupboard — everything was thoughtfully tailored to our needs. They took the time to help me choose the right layout and finishes without rushing anything. Neil and Carole were an absolute pleasure to work with, so lovely, calm, and totally on top of things. Andrea was brilliant too. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat.
