Bastille Day
Whilst updating their kitchen, these customers decided to incorporate their separate utility room into their kitchen to maximise the space in the kitchen and make it into a room that works for them on a daily basis. The wall wasn’t load-bearing so was removed and the walls and ceiling made good when the existing kitchen was ripped out.
They settled on the Bastille door by Ethos in Dust Grey. Bastille is a 5 piece beaded shaker door with a woodgrain finish. The doors were dressed with a chunky D-handle in matt black by Stori. The light, veined tones of Silestone Miami Vena by Cosentino on the work surfaces, upstands, splashback and windowsill perfectly complement the Dust Grey.
Oven, hob and integrated fridge freezer are all Samsung with an extractor by Elica. The Belfast sink was on the customer’s wish list and is accompanied by a pull-out tap in matt black which co-ordinates with the handles.
Removing the internal wall created an ideal space for a breakfast bar. It’s the perfect size to sit and grab some breakfast and a coffee in the morning. All appliances have been integrated and usable worksurface space has dramatically increased, giving this kitchen some serious clean and crisp lines!
